Mackinnon Hathway Holiday Cottages 2005

 

No.1  Siobhan Cottage, Bundalloch, By Dornie.
Price: April - £270, May - £280, June - £320, July/August - £370, September - £300, October - £280.
Ground floor: Spacious open plan, kitchen/dining room, sitting room. Upper floor: two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two single beds - sleeps 4). There are duvets on the single beds and blankets on the double. Bathroom.

REMARKS: A comfortable traditional stone cottage situated on the shore of Loch Long in a very beautiful and peaceful area of Ross-shire, one mile from Dornie village. An excellent situation for hill walking, fishing and other outdoor pursuits. Central heating and domestic hot water is supplied by an open fire in the sitting room, also night storage heating. There are duvets on the single beds and blankets on the double bed. Washing machine/tumble dryer. Colour TV. Well behaved pets welcome (see charges).

 
No.2  Tigh Fasgaidh, Ardelve, Dornie, by Kyle of Lochalsh.
Price: March - £290, April - £300, May - £320, June - £360, July/August - £380, September - £320, October - £300.
Ground floor: Spacious open plan sitting room/dining room with gas fire, one bedroom with double bed, cloakroom with W.C. and W.H.B., kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower. Upper floor:- Two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with two singles. All beds have duvets. There is also a cot and a folding bed. Can sleep 7.

REMARKS: A comfortable traditional stone cottage situated close to the shores of Loch Alsh in a very quiet, peaceful area and enjoying pleasant rural views. Like all our cottages, it is in an excellent position for hill walking, fishing and other outdoor pursuits. There are three hotels all serving very good bar and restaurant meals within easy walking distance, also the famous Eilean Donan Castle which has an excellent cafeteria. Gas central heating with radiators in all rooms, washing machine, tumble dryer, colour TV , telephone - incoming calls only, electric and microwave ovens. Off road parking. No.3  Blythswood, Glaick, Balmacara, by Kyle of Lochalsh.
Price: March - £365, April - £385, May - £450, June - £455, July/August - £530, Sept/Oct - £435, Nov - £350, Easter - £430. 
Ground floor - Ground floor - Sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom. Upper floor:- One bedroom with double bed and two bedrooms each with a single bed. There is also a sofa in the sitting room which converts to a comfortable double bed. Sleeps 4/6.

REMARKS: Standing within a National Trust woodland enclave, this spacious and comfortable traditional house enjoys an elevated position in very well maintained and secluded garden ground. The house is close to the shore and has excellent, uninterrupted views across Loch Alsh to the Isle of Skye. Parents of small children please note that there is an ornamental pond in the garden. Night storage heaters or wall, panel heaters in all rooms, open fire and multi-fuel burning stove, washing machine, microwave oven, TV. Double glazed throughout. Duvets on all beds. No.4  Craig Cottage, Kyle of Lochalsh.
Price: April - £360, May/June - £395, July/August - £445, September - £395, October - £360. These prices include provision and laundering of linen and towels in this cottage..
Ground floor:- Two bedrooms each with a double bed, sitting room, kitchen, bathroom. Upper floor:- (accessed by fixed Ramsay ladder) bedroom with two single beds. The house sleeps 6 people in comfort

REMARKS: Situated in a quiet, residential part of the village, within walking distance of all amenities and literally 2 minutes from the swimming pool which also has a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym and solarium. This comfortable stone cottage stands in a very pleasant and secluded garden, giving complete privacy. An excellent base for touring the north west Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Washing machine, colour TV, heating by electric fires. Well behaved pets welcome.

No.5 Dubh Aird, Plockton.
 Price: March - £310, April - £320, May - £330, June - £380, July/August - £450, September - £380, October - £330.
Ground floor:- Ground floor:- Spacious sitting room, kitchen/dining room, bathroom, three bedrooms (two rooms with double beds, one room with bunk beds). Upper floor:- Very large playroom, three bedrooms (two rooms with two single beds each, one room with bunks), shower room. Sleeps 12, duvets on all beds.

REMARKS: A very spacious modern house standing above the shore-line with excellent panoramic views across Loch Carron and the Inner Sound of Raasay. The house is about one mile from Plockton village in very pleasant rural surrounds and has direct access to a safe, sandy beach.
