8th August 10am-11am DOLPHINS OFF KYLE SLIPWAY  

A pod of (bottlenose?) dolphins numbering 8 or more were playing / fishing in the loch this morning between Kyleakin and Kyle of Lochalsh, oblivious to human activity around them. They were easily visible and in no hurry to move up the loch. Here are some rush pix :-

PRINCESS ANNE ROYAL VISIT TO KYLE OF LOCHALSH FIRST PICTURES HERE  
On 4th September Princess Anne arrived by helicopter to the base and thence to the new Kyle of Lochalsh council offices.
She spent half an hour chatting to staff and visiting council officials and then left for Plockton High School see all the pictures here
